Waiting on New Trucks thread.

I have done that already. Have not looked at what Truck Paper cost to put an AD in for. Will for sure post it in a few places before worrying about trading it in. I plan on running it until truck gets here.

 

Thanks that is not a bad price. Will put it on Face book market place and craigslist first. Will most likely sell from one of those two places fairly quickly. Since the engine had a platinum rebuild on it and will still have 1 year and 100K of warranty left on Engine. plus all the new stuff I just did as well.

 

I just sold my truck and trailer in 1 day on Craigslist. It cost me $5.00. Got my asking price without any dickering which is a lot more than I would have gotten for a trade in.

I thought I might too, but my back had been horrible for a couple months, and this last week off and it felt good as new. So that was all I needed to convince me that it was time to get out. I was nervous about my truck selling for what I wanted, and couldn't believe how fast it happened. I'm now a former driver.

 

Looking at these crazy prices for used equipment, sometimes I dream of selling my equipment.(looks like it will be over $300k), plus get the money I saved up, go to Hawaii and do nothing for few years

 

Hawaii on $300k? Maybe 2 years of doing nothing. And that's after you quarantine for a while and get a vaccine shot. I love it over there but God it's expensive to do anything. My family owns a beach house on Oahu, and none of us have been there since before the pandemic.

 

Ok, maybe Thailand then lol

 

You can retire in Thailand on that amount.
