Sweet smell

    Iv been geting a sweet smell dont know what could cause it just had an overhaul done. Also had heater core checked no leaks oil is good coolent is good except in lowers when my truck has been off for over 10hrs then rises back up after 20 min of being on ant idea what could be happening?

    Sweet to me is normally coolant. The red stuff leaves a pretty good residue when it seeps out and dries, check all the nooks and crannies.

    You probably need to bleed the system seems like air is in it. With the the rise & falling of the coolant level. My guess anyway
