Max 500 mile $1000 a day, drop and hook.

please tell me people don’t actually haul these loads.

I understand it’s guaranteed money and home a lot but really $2.00 a mile.

    rabbiporkchop Thanks this.

Someone who doesn't know any better will, then they will wonder why they can't afford to fix their truck when it breaks down

I could make a living doing that but I can do better without much effort. If I didn’t have a trailer might even be more interesting? It says “max” 500 miles. What if it was 300 miles a day? 200 miles a day?

I done this when I was leased onto Landstar. You were guaranteed at least $1000 a day and received $1000 a day if you showed up and they didn't work you. I don't think I ever did more tha like 300 miles a day. But, I did it so I would not have to run in the snow during the winter time.... thats not a lot of money considering that $ was before they took their cut

As crazy as that sounds now, many will consider it gold when things hit the fan one day.

Good. Seems like a lot of people on here think that as long as they are over 1.15/mi then it’s all gravy. Your numbers are much more realistic. Still tho, if you havent been through a downturn as an owner op, it’s not fun so save up now.
