There is 3 weeks waiting until your first pay!
Eastern European crooks!
They suspend drivers even for 2 unintentional errors of on duty time. Safety does not pick up phone when log edit is needed.
To spend year here is not realistic even for most detail oriented drivers. But keeping all times as on duty will take your driving time away along with your pay, especially if you rent from them a truck.
No preplans, no home time, no damage insurance for $2500 deductible. Slip seating, constant repairs and rental fees are charged by day.
You'll go to a dealership to get another truck, or you 'll be getting $100 per day for waiting... and, there is three weeks delay until your first pay, and then week delay on your current week's earnings. Have to mail envelope overnight at your cost with whatever loads you have by Tuesday or else no money next Friday. Also, seniority in load revenue for drivers. Some getting 3$ per mile and others 1$ or less.
Makes no sense even for experience drivers. They are literally running scams.
HMD Trucking, Inc /Eastern European crooks! ⚠️ Stay away from those company.

jamespmack and Lonesome Thank this. -
Chicago? No way.

They have a huge advertising campaign right now with all kinds of inflated examples of pay and hometime. I’m talking 72CPM dry van home two days a week, $2000 a week solo dry van, $6000 bonuses, blah blah blah, very hyped.
crazy they also have almost all five star reviews from drivers. Lol!!! When have you EVER seen that? Just based on the above, they probably should be investigated. -
surf_avenue and Need4Speed Thank this.

Huh.
Russian communists that cheat the drivers ?
who would have ever seen that coming ? -
Hmmmmm.....they are actually a reputable decent sized company. They've been around for a while. I see them everywhere. I can't speak for this company as I've never worked there, but the bigger, reputable companies in Chicagoland get a little backlash because of all the 1099 outfits there. As soon as someone says, Russian or Eastern European, everyone will automatically sour. GP Transco gets a lot of the same heat, and I've came across drivers who are happy there. I'm not saying OP is a liar or wrong, he probably didn’t have the best experience there. All I'm saying is that they are a player in the industry and the owner(s) descent doesn't always tell the story.

Hey Jamie, I was thinking about joining them also.
- How much are you making per week with them?
- Over how many miles?
- Are you working for cents or a lease owner operator?
