    How are they going to stop the train when one of those infamous desert tortoises stumbles on to the track, god forbid something happen to one of those precious, never ever seen, stupid turtles.

    I'll believe it when I see it. It should go Salt Lake to LA

    Have you seen I-15 from SLC to Vegas Fri, Sat, Sun lately? going both directions? It is NOT the once simple drive it was not very long ago. Run the train from SLC to LA...with a stop in St. George. Put that on the infrastructure list.

    That would work. Probably more people from Utah would spend time in Las Vegas, since they wouldn't have to drive a car.
