Cant manage to get in my old account.'
Having a issue with my Carrier Comfort pro, no codes or faults are being displayed other than a overheat sporadically every few weeks.
the unit will run fine for hours as long as the heat or hvac is off comes on by itself to keep batteries charged. As soon as you try to run the A/C or Heat the unit shuts down after about a minute. can start it back up and not select heat or hvac and itll stay running.
fluids are good im about 3 weeks from being home and being able to take it to a dealer was just curious if anyone had any ideas

Well nothing in manual trouble shooting helped. Triple checked fluids capacitor seems to be good as well. And breakers seem to be fine.

Had a similar issue with mine although I didn't check to see if it happened with apu running without a/c. I only use it for hvac, rarely to keep batteries charged only.
It would stop running after just a few minutes. It was a faulty coolant temp sensor. Mounts on top of engine like a sparkplug with an electrical connector on top. Stopped by a Carrier shop and bought a new one for $75 . It took me 5 minutes to swap out and fixes the issue. Be aware that when you remove that sensor there will be some coolant spilling out. -
