I have worked for Rush Trucking since the 26th of May 2009 it is now August 3,2009. I have only recieved two pay checks since being there. One for $1011.00 and another one for $ 3025.00 dollars. THIS IS NOT A DRIVER FRIENDLY COMPANY! They take all the fuel out first, they do not care if you bring anything home to pay your bills. I have exhausted my savings trying to stay with this company to see if it would work out. I can see now it is not! BEWARE!!! If you like your paycheck do not come here!
They have dedicated runs that you will starve running.

Sorry to hear that story but I have a question. If you have only received 2 paychecks in that amount of time what the hell were you still doing there?
First paycheck that wasn't there when it was supposed to be I'd of been gone.

They pay two weeks in the arrears. So it's three weeks before you get your first check. But there is no check because it's all eat up in fuel. Then when you should get a check it's eat up with something else like DOT physical, truck insurance, ect. I need three tires to go somewhere else and not getting paid I am kinda stuck here for the moment. Trust me the first chance I get I am otta here!

you are told in the very beginning that you will have to deal with this stuff. i talked to them yesterday and thats the 3rd thing we discussed. how much money did you have in your savings? 10.00? this really sounds like a operating capitol problem not a bad company. i have been an owner operator for several years and i know that you need a little cash for the stuff you will encounter

Do we have anyone else out there that has information about Rush Trucking? I noticed their dedicated routes pay extremely low (less than a dollar a mile). Can someone else chime in?

This is the only issue I had when running fro Rush, it will hurt you. -
I was thinking of running team with my brother, leased to Rush Trucking. Their automotive dedicated runs from Kansas City, may work for us both for a year or two. Both of us are looking for some easy runs, now that we're in our forties. Any thoughts on this plan?
