That's just as bad. I won't use either of those. It's been a while, but I'd either use the Bandit truck stop a few miles west or the service plaza on 476. I was gonna say something about the crappy dirt lot at the Bandit, but Google maps shows it's paved now. Guess it really as been a while. Allentown is a great place not to go to.

If I hit someone and they were like "just give me a $150 gift card and we are square" I think I'd break a leg running to grab one. Even if the guy tries to go after me anyways the possibility of getting off the hook for less than I've spent for 15 minute dances in Vegas would be worth the gamble.

I had a guy back into me at a job site we were both delivering to. He offered 50 dollars, I told him 100. He bucked. I told him to give me his insurance information. He handed me a crisp new 100 dollar bill. We drew up quick notes agreeing the matter was settled, signed them and moved on. You have to really cover your bases out here. It's a dirty industry full of cruddy people.

well at least you learned a valuable lesson. Never let somethin g like this slide in the goodness of your heart. People are viscous and its every man for himself. Dont expect someone to follow through on good faith.

That's the first thing I thought. That garbage Trexler would embarras a lot of slum dwellers.

When I first started out, I had a Canadian driver back into me somewhere in Michigan and knock my spotter mirror off. Didn't want to deal with a bunch of phone calls and insurance at midnight so I told him to just give me forty dollars and I would replace the mirror. He gave me two twenties and left. Went to the store to buy the mirror and the dirt bag gave me a American twenty on top of a Canadian twenty and I didn't catch it. Live and learn kind of thing. My twelve year old son didn't even want a Canadian twenty for memorabilia.
