TRUCKSTOP DAMAGE

Someone clipped my mirror in NYC with their mirror on 87 where it gets tight. My mirror stood strong, his went and smashed his window. I didn't bother asking for anything, but I have a dash cam that shows me in the lane. Minor damage, who cares. If you are dumb enough to drive a show truck, you can expect to have a headache.

 

You were @ Trexler? That’s place stinks! Go through insurance next time driver.

 

Unfortunately you can’t be nice to everyone, sounds like he needs to lose his job. Today it’s your truck tomorrow it could be one of ours families.

 

The WAWA......that place is a mess. I hope you at least got to eat the chicken tender bowl with mashed potatoes and corn...

 

its a zoo but the food is good lol I go there when I deliver to that lineage logistics around the corner.

 

I drive a company truck but still it pays to pick your parking spot. I've not used a reserved I'd paid for because a free spot was in a better position.

I've had guys smash my truck with their door hard enough to wake me up....in a 10ft wide spot.

 

I've had that happen where I hit someone elses truck when I opened my door. But I was parked FIRST so that meant HE was the one who was in the wrong. He came out yelling and I said who was here first he shut up and moved his truck up a little bit. And over a bit if I remember correctly.

 

How hard did you hit his truck? I've gotten a love tap and nothing is make a fuss over, this felt like a truck actually hit me.If it doesn't leave a mark it's not really a thing. If it does leave a mark it's your equipment you decide how much time it's worth.
Hell I've bumped mirrors on accident but never heard enough to shake truck or mark anything

My boss would stab me if I wasted his time of a tiny ding but would be pissed if I didn't report a paint chip.

 

I travel 78 through there almost daily. You'll never see me stopping at Trexler, that Wawa on route 100, Love's at exit 23, Midway, or the Flying J at exit 10. That's pretty much the entirety of 78 in PA. Only place I will stop, and only if absolutely needed, is Sheetz at exit 13. And only there before 5am and after 7am. Between 5-7 am you get all the warehouse workers in there.
