I swear sometimes they just drive around empty so everyone can look at them.

 

Alot of guys selling out. Between the cost of feed and the drought. Expect beef prices to soar next year.

 

Still has the oe passenger seat, so I just peeked under there & nothing..

This is what's left of the component info in the glovebox.. Weirdly enough, I can make out the words Tan, Black, & White as the 3 paint colors listed!! So perhaps I was wrong & the paint codes of the sister truck are the same..?

Time to look up Freightliner Tan, N0878E & see what's what..

 

They aren’t looking for winter grass — prices are up and a bunch of them are cashing out and looking at an alternative lifestyle

Cant blame them. I dont know anything about the beef industry but i follow a couple ranchers on youtube that have been in the industry along time. They are always talking about the ongoing battle between the the big corporate packing companies and how they have been screwing the ranchers and farmers for years... It is sad what corporate greed does to good ol folks just trying to make an honest living

 

The fall run is on. Everybody's weaning and moving stuff around before winter.

 

Yeah, all of the big buyers know eachother and work together. I worked with one almost exclusively for years. I would haul into greeley for him. The only way to make money is direct to consumer sales. Started making good money then. We started a csa and did good with it. I just couldn't handle dealing with the people. The kind of folks who are willing to pay you what your stuff is worth, is not the kinda people I care to talk to. So.....that didn't last long.....lol
