listen Bro, find a good Owner Operator and negotiate your CPM....plenty of people that need dri ers for their one or 2 trucks they own. I found out long ago that working for a big company is only a means to an end when your just a number.
as long as you can pass a drug test and their insurance will cover you, dont worry about the being fired.
even of a company doesn't want to verify you or talks crap about you, you can be verified from when you crossed a scale and had an inspection that proves you were driving and has experience.

You don't leave two week notices's in the trucking industry, you just drop your truck off and never come back. That truly gives the company a lot of power to mess with you. There is no company employee loyalty anymore these days and their #### sure isn't any in the trucking industry as a company driver.

 

They use "The Work #" who charges carriers $27.95 to get the employment verification. CRIMINAL! They work-around is that they will release the information by mail in 28 days for free, so the new company can't get it within 30 days, as required by the FMCSA, yet skirts around the limit by them sending the info in under 30 days.


We don't pay for that crap. That might be his issue right there, the companies he's applying to won't submit to this BS, either.
