I concur. In fact, if I was the shipper and a truck came back because of a load shift due to improper securement, I'm not reworking the load. I'm gonna unload it and put it on another truck. I might ban the driver from the facility, that would be a judgment call. A couple times with the same carrier and that carrier would be banned, no pickups or deliveries.
Of course shippers are primarily focused on one thing, and it ain't ensuring hiring competent carriers to haul their freight. -
Just wait for your fertilizer bill.Lostkeys, Gatordude, singlescrewshaker and 12 others Thank this. -
Talking with a fellow about that very thing this morning. Not looking forward to next year if what I'm hearing down here comes true.

Now you got me wondering........wondering what he wants for it. I was going to stop by Avoca on the way through and hit the museum because I haven't been there in years. Found out they auctioned it all off and Jerry passed away. I can't believe I just found out. That sucks so bad. Awesome guy with a one of a kind collection of a literal lifes work. It sucks that something you literally worked for and built your whole life is gone in an instant. Then the vultures come in and pick it over. What a ####ing waste! As a die hard farmall guy, just makes me sad.
I used to be horrible about trying to save everything. it used to kill me watching equipment goto the junk guy! My wife hated it when I said I was going to town. I would always drag something back that I found in some guys fence row. -
Don't come to Grants Pass, OR then. There's a Redi-Mix company right on 199 that has a big collection of old tractors/equipment lining the fence of their property, plus I know the guy has another collection of things inside a building out of the public eye. I was actually wondering today as I drove by it what's going to happen to it all when the owner kicks the bucket. I have a feeling his son who also runs a construction company here will probably take it over, and I hope he keeps everything as is.
Temptation to want to try to buy stuff that probably isn't for sale lol -
Lol, 2 of those parked in front of me right now. Not my thing. I've had a couple t800w. Never a regular t800......and I really want one....something fierce. However, now isn't the time.
