Most companies want you to go to their doctor anyway.
Try for the one year card first. Being overweight isn't reason to give you a 6 mos. card unless a sleep test is required.

Does your CPAP have the function to download data? Trucking companies require that. -
I actually messed up on that. For some reason, I had it in my mind that he would want to read my CPAP machine data so I brought it in with me. He said that he didn't do that and said he needed a sleep center to do it and bring back a letter. He wouldn't give me the card until I brought that letter back, so he did have the letter before issuing the card.

I was out 5 years driving b class and I went with Schneider. Just had to be within ten years. Took a road test all good. Teaming with wife she got a new cdl. I'm getting .62 a mileZangief Thanks this.

No. I had my DOT Medical 2 year that had over a year still left on it. A new company i started still wanted me to get a 2 year . I went and got a 2 year .
If you go get another physical and the doc approves you for a 1 year , then that 1 year medical card is validZangief Thanks this.
