Are deer are stupid! Don't even use the crossing. Waste of tax payer money.

 

I use to think the Deer Crossing Lady was one in a million until I went to Yellowstone. July 21, and it snowed there. There was a herd of Buffalo standing in the road. Traffic was stopped and waiting for the buffalo to move. Suddenly, some tourists got out to pet and take pictures with the buffalo. And things got scary.

I wonder how some people get through life without getting killed.

 

Waste of taxpayer money is the actual crossings. In Nevada they have multi million dollar critter over passes. In Idaho, we have critter tunnel crossings. They have cameras in them to monitor crossings. However, critters don't use them. Because critters are scared of dark unknown places.

 

Been moving stuff around in my shop, uncovering things that’s been untouched for a spell lol. My little walk behind tractor with 2 mowers, turn plow, and cultivators not shown…..

 

Last time I was there like 3 months ago. There were two bulls fighting on the side of the road while traffic was stopped. They lost interest in eachother and started eyeing out my buddy and I. They were huffing and stomping, then they started toward us. I started to back up, then they started walking faster. I put my kickstand down and started walking backward. Did that for like 75ft or so. Plan was to hop in the back of a guys pickup if things got sideways. My buddy was laughing his butt off. I'm a magnet for such things. Last year during the rut we were camping and I woke up to some awful noises. Went out to see and there was a deer just laying into my bike. I dunno why, but it didn't like my bike. Scratched the hell out of it.

Now you know why we have so many blasted CAUTION / DO NOT signs all around lol, some people can’t see or think passed their nose….
