I have a 2022 VNL 860 auto shift, With a wired fault. I'll be driving along and my dash lights up like a Christmas tree, cruise control is disabled, tire sensors stop reporting pressure but still report temp, Jake only works at full, LCS freaks out, digital speed gage adds 2mph when shifting up not down.

I've taken out to a shop 4 separate times and had one thing or more replaced under warranty because it died. Like the passenger side LCS sensor, the little box in the front and random relays.

I'm still having this issue and the shops keep telling me everything is fixed only for it to fail300 miles down the road.

Anyone ells have this issue of something similar?
Any suggestions for fixing this or know where to look?

I hear that there are a lot of problems with harnesses and the main ecm on these Volvos. Like wires rub somewhere and create all kinds of electrical problems.
I guess you just gotta keep trying to find a Volvo dealer with knowledgeable mechanics

    Same.

OP it sounds to me that you may have a bad ground or something with the VECU going bad considering you didn't say anything about a driving issue at all.

    Hi y'all.

Thanks for the insight and suggestions. Got into Volvo in Dallas, turns out there was a damaged ground wire in cable pack from the front radar sensor back to the in cab computer.

The fault was in line. Took the tech several days to isolate it.

    Was covered under warranty.

What an odd solution. It must've been a pretty important ground.

Do you happen to know more specifically where the break ended up being?

    Yes.
The break was up front Where the cable was attached to the frame.
Apparently there is supposed to be a cable guard insert in the clamp that is slightly bigger than the cable, however, this was not the case and caused a week point in the cable and the ground wire became damaged and exposed.
