From 4-5 hours to 2-3 weeks unloading

Ive been waiting at receiver since March 2021. Broker said theres nothing he could do. I’m thinking of calling him back tho. The dock guys have been bringing me leftovers from home.

 

Just saying,Is getting the National Guard in there to unload the stuff a task Obiden could order if he wanted to? Of course.

 

Not really sure what the NG is going to do, unless they are already trained, they aren't going to simply climb and work those cranes, I mean the small packers they use load/unload trains have a 3 week training period before they let the new guys loose, and even then, the new guys generally only do chassis flips for the first month till they get the hang of it, before they are allowed to work the trains.

 

Easy fix. US puts a 120 day moratorium on any crap imported from China. That would clear out the system and people would learn thay don't need the stuff in the first place.

 

A tanker load?? I have dropped tankers at customers that take days to unload. But usually grab the previous one that’s empty and leave or bobtail away.

Try to work it out with the broker. If it doesn’t get anywhere after 24 hours put it in storage or a cold storage. You will have to take them to court to pay for the storage and re-delivery fee.You will have to have everything documented for court. You can’t keep your one truck tied up for two weeks. Probably still waiting to get unloaded, out of fuel, dead batteries, can't charge the phone or laptop. Hope he has water and cup o noodles! Lol
