We found long ago the secret to moving is: get rid of, or sell all your stuff. Then just buy new crap when you get there. Wayyyy easier that way. Faster too.jamespmack, Flint1, Lostkeys and 11 others Thank this.

Oh, my wife already has an Amazon cart full of stuff. On top of that we had items she'd ordered already here when we showed up yesterday.
We purged a lot of things in the weeks leading up to the move. What we moved is what we kept because most of it was too new to toss loljamespmack, Flint1, Lostkeys and 10 others Thank this. -
they haul pretty good - this was a refurbished machine headed to its new home. Only slightly heavier than book weight at about 70kjamespmack, Flint1, Lostkeys and 9 others Thank this.

Farmerjohn is probably at work. I spoke with him a week or two ago and he likes the corrections job. I'm still looking in on this site, just not often and not here. All y'all I enjoy weren't enough compensation for some seriously disturbing folks. I'll be back later when they chill or leave. Thanks for asking and wishing everyone, ( even the weirdos and b.s artists ) a great fall and holiday season. Drive safe! The white stuff is here....jamespmack, Flint1, Lostkeys and 9 others Thank this.

We've moved so much, nothing really has value anymore. Last move I gave my buddy at no cost 2 tractors, 30ft disk, 30ft chisel, planter, 2 drills, 6 row veggie planter and more that I forgot. Because I didn't want to move it and I got lowball offers. So I just gave it to a buddy of mine. Because wherever I'm going, they have more crap there.jamespmack, Lostkeys, Gatordude and 5 others Thank this.

You wanna laugh. Like 5 years ago I was supposed to haul an articulated Volvo from RB north of Denver to Greely. I drove there in my pickup and pulled it out the gate. Then had my buddy drop me off there around 2200 or so. I drove that piece up 85 and dropped it outside their gate. Then came back the next day in my pickup to take it the rest of the way in........and nobody said a word. It did feel funny sitting at stoplights in that thing....lol.
Edit: that was like 11 or so years ago, when we still lived there. My mental calender sucks.Last edited: Nov 3, 2021

so far everything is doing well. Need to play with the trailer leveling valve as I would like a little more ground clearance but it is good. I have 56k on the trailer tridem - so good for what I paid for itjamespmack, Flint1, Lostkeys and 8 others Thank this.
