My truck payment went up by $20 per week. (OK, $20.37 to be exact) When I initially did the math, I figured on my payments going up by $50 per week and the new fuel economy being 6 MPG. With those numbers, I was expecting a healthy pay raise. The fact that I am coming out better than the math I originally did is making me even happier with the truck.

I've done the math w/o having a Pro Star using the general numbers I can find and a truck sheet I nabbed a copy of and I would come out WAY better if I continued my 65mph regiment. One day I realized I was only getting 70 miles further a day at a cost of about 400 dollars per week. It's not worth it.I intend to nab a Prostar.

So you see when you blow my doors off my Classic,(A lot of you have) I am doing 64 mph for a reason. Another hint, if your gear boxes are not running synthetic, get them changed. Don't wait for the shop to do it. Run 110 lbs in you steer, and drive tires. It makes a difference

Well since I am at home, I have access to a computer all day long. Doing some calculations, and seeing how I was the last to post 8 hours ago, y'all must be busy driving your truck. So it seems to me, there is a bunch of solar powered drivers out there. Well It's dark now, so let the new posts begin..............

I've been reading this thread for awhile now and am pleased to say my husband is making the leap to JCT Feb 8, if all goes well. LMB, Jarbo and Dabs - your info and honesty regarding JCT had a lot to do with his decision. He is a retired Marine and working hard is what he does best!
