Sounds like you have a racial problem. No where in his post did he attack Hispanics. The problems with the plants he is talking about were all over the national news guess you weren't paying attention. On those wages it would be hard to afford a car.

 

Folks, I will apologize right now...I even almost deleted this. It is long and can be labeled a rant or a coming unglued at 6AM EDT.

And just for the record, Hoosier, I am not calling you a moron...(see below)...now, on to my point.

Unfortunately, Hoosier, as you know, it's where we are now. America used to be America. Now it's African-America; it's Italian-America; it's Hispanic-America; it's Asian-America and so forth. What the heck happened to AMERICA-AMERICA!!!!

If I am American born and raised and you are an immigrant from another country or you have a different skin color and I disagree with you...I am deemed a racist.

If I am a racist...then you are an idiot. (not you, Hoosier...just making a point for all the racemongers and those who have become so conditioned that way. It's kind of like child or spousal abuse...accusation equals guilt.

Racism sells news and keeps the likes of the "Reverends" Jackson and Sharpton in their palatial "cribs" and "Ho's" in their limos. (is my use of the word crib and Ho mean I am a racist?)

If you want to scream racism...know what the heck you are screaming.

A B I G O T is a person who is obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices. The correct use of the term requires the elements of obstinacy, irrationality, and animosity toward those of differing devotion (be it religion, color, or favorite football team).

But wait, I thought it was "Racists" who were prejudiced?

Racism is the belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority or inferiority of a particular race.

There is nothing in that definition that says I am racist IF I DISAGREE WITH YOU BECAUSE YOU ARE GREEN!!!! I DISAGREE WITH ALL GREEN PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!! THUS, I AM A ##### as it relates to all people who are green!!!!!!!

In the case of institutional racism, certain racial groups may be denied rights or benefits, or get preferential treatment.

If I disagree with you because of my opinion of cheap labor-operated chicken processing plants, I may be labeled a B I G O T but I can't (in the proper use and context of the word) be labeled a racist (that is, if the labeler has any idea of what he speaks).

For those old enough to remember the sitcom ALL IN THE FAMILY???? Archie Bunker was a B I G O T...and a #### funny one at that. He wasn't a racist...at least not as determined by what went on in the show.

If I am in a position to exercise control of inclusivity or exclusivity over you because you are HISPANIC or BLACK or MARTIAN, then I am a racist.

Immigrants have always been proud of their respective heritages. Heck, we, including those of us whose families have been here for generations, are proud of our past, too. Most of us can search our lineage back to other countries and it doesn't take very many generations, for most, in order to get there.

Immigrants used to come to America to be Americans.

Now, immigrants come here seeking to benefit from all the "opportunities" provided by America while seeking to change America into something that won't be able to support what they came here for.

"Opportunities" defined as sucking off of the AMERICAN TAXPAYER nipple. It isn't the government nipple because the only "milk" the govt has is that that has been confiscated at the end of a gun barrell from American Taxpayers. I hate it when I hear about this "Govt Program" and that "Govt Program". IT IS WEALTH REDISTRIBUTION...I DON'T CARE HOW YOU SLICE IT!!! The money has been taken from one person and given, either through actual handouts or through programs, to another. From the producer to the non-producer. Where did the non-producer get that right? That's a rant for another day.

Unfortunately, the past 4-5 decades in this country have seen an open arms welcoming (come one, come all) policy that has resulted in a snowball now that can't be stopped nor canit be properly controlled.

Are there honest, hard-working folks who come here from other countries truly seeking opportunity to work for what they get and have, be they legal or illegal? You darn right there are.

And no, they are not "UNDOCUMENTED"... they are ILLEGAL!!!!!!!!!!!! But they vote for democ....oh, nevermind about that part.

There are also those who come here looking for shortcuts and to take advantage of the American Generosity.

And it totally pisses me off.

I recently finished a Commercial Driving Course at the local community college. Had a guy in the class (immigrant - refugee from Eastern Europe - not that it matters...just provided to give info) who had a friend who came here and purchased a CDL Class A licenses on the street and drove trucks with NO training whatsoever for over 5 years before being caught.

I guess he did work afterall.

On the other hand, the guy in the class has a wife and 3 beautiful children (two who have graduated college already and one who will soon be a CPA - God Bless Her Soul). They have worked hard since coming here with the inability to read or speak english and have accomplished (AND CONTRIBUTED) more in 10 years than folks who have been here for generations.

Not sure where I am going with all this. I just get totally insensed when see or hear the word racism.

good grief...I was just simply stating a fact that I am hispanic and I am treated well within the company...I am not underpaid compared to my peers. Enough said.

I was taught by an old county preacher about 25 years ago...that truth is truth no matter where it is found. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

So yeah, I get a little carried away...too carried away at times.

I beg pardon for my passion. I just squirm in my thoughts of the kind of nation we are leaving for our children/grandchildren and so forth.....

Tyson a good company,they treat thier with repect,i work for for over 27 years,I am retire from now,I got a nice retirement.they got good truck,they pay alot thing that other company,saying that you can make a good living thier,when sick they pay for te days.alot of thing they pay you,and your will not ask to unloaded your truck,a lot thing i can say about,i be here all night
