Yeah I've seen stuff like that at some places. Like an 8 or 12 mph speed limit. It does make you question who thought that up and why. There just has to be some reasoning behind it.

It's a tactic to make you look at it. They do the same at mines. They choose odd numbers to draw your attention to it. I've been to alot of mines that use half numbers. Like 5 1/2 mph. It does make you look at it and not just gloss it over as just another sign.

 

I know. Everyone tolerates it but no one likes it.

Tolerate it? What other choices are there man. Businesses and govt both embrace it. We the people are on the losing end......nothing new there though.
