    So my 2018 W900 has two pair of 4x6 speakers in the cab. They run off the front channel of the stereo. Which brings up a question: are they 4 or 8 ohm's? I'm thinking about replacing mine with better quality. It's gonna be a big job but the dual paper cone speakers sound meh.

    I never thought to look in the couple of parts trucks we have in the yard. So I answered my own question.

    8 ohm

    This way the head unit sees the load as 4ohm from the speakers. Of course they have to make adding after market speakers complicated.
