Mine wasn't too rough, still a bit wobbly on my feet at times 8 months later. It's definitely a helluva thing.

Lasik wasn't too awful. The procedure it's self was quick and completely painless. After the numbing wore off my eyes burnt like the dickens. Little 4 hour nap helped that. Things is still a little fuzzy but should subside in the coming weeks.

So far nothing has been light. Getting out of bed and walking to the restroom wears me out.

I think alot of folks are going to be in this boat before too long. Between the lack of parts taking care of the new trucks and mpg taking care of the older trucks. Sucks watching things fall apart in front of your eyes and trying to claw your way through it. I really do fear for the future. I believe @D.Tibbitt brought up the issue of fuel bills. My wife just brought up the same to me yesterday. Just cuts into the bottom line.

I was on my way over to dales the other day and noticed your buddy's sign wasnt up anymore.

Mine wasn't bad at all. My whole family got it, including the baby. It was about a 2 day thing for us. Some sniffles and that's it. Only reason I knew I had it is because I had to get tested when I was still in the oilfield. My buddy was the same way, 2 days and done. His family never got it though. Now like 6 months later his wife got it and she's laid out for two weeks. Crazy how things effect people differently. You'll get through it @jamespmack. Gives you a chance to play up the sympathy lovin.....worked for me.....lol.

6500 in fuel last month :( . that is just regular flatbed freight. I havent been able to get over 5.5mpg out of this loaner truck... Ive been trying to fuel in missoula its the cheapest stop on my regular routes at 3.75 a gallon... My other choices, is 4.15 or higher... Just sucks because alot of the freight is slowing down for us for winter time which is normal . but its kinda just an extra kick in the balls when fuel is so high
