What if it Snows?

No bacon or other pork products isn’t that breaking some state law?

 

It's due to Covid. Not cheapness. Just covid

Yes can buy a pound of bacon. A glass plate or two. Paper towels. Cook in the microwave. 4 strips, wrap plate up in paper towel. Two or three layers on top. It cooks pretty good.

 

Just a regular thick clay or glass dinner plate. Buy two. Sometimes there is a flaw in the casting. Put four strips down. Wrap the hole thing in paper towel. Get two or three layers on top. You can put the layers on top with out wrapping. But the spinning plate usually knocks off the paper towel. Then the microwave has grease everywhere. Microwave for 5 minutes and check. They will cook in their own grease. Probably be 7 minutes total, maybe 8 with a motel microwave..

You can put barbecue sauce on it. They will carmelize, easy to burn though. Or soy sauce. I love soy sauce. Or just have plain bacon.

There isn't much more room for 3 or 4 strips of bacon to cook on a plate.




I don't put paper towel under the bacon. Only on top.

 

Lol. Where has it been? It need a lip to make bacon grease pool. The bacon needs to swim in it to cook and become crispy. Imo.

If you have a Walmart. It's like $2 a plate. Or 4 for 50 paper plates with high sides.
