Step all fixed up. Could probably use a new strap but I think I got it straight enough for what it is?![]()

In other news one of the things I really wanted to do when I got my new trailer was to reset the bearings. Well as I suspected since I didn’t do it , It started getting wear on 6 of the 8 tires. Finally jacked it up today and 3 of the 4 were visibly lose. And the one that was tight the tires are perfect. So much for 5 years maintenance free wheel ends?

If you Jack up a wheel end and put a pry bar under it you can feel it. But, you shouldn’t be able to see it is my opinion.jamespmack, Oxbow, JoeyJunk and 4 others Thank this. -

They look like this. My opinion is this is absolutely loose wheel bearings.
Backed up by the fact the one that was tight had no irregular ware.
