Well UPS has crapped out, seems the company messed up the contracts or something, so instead of steady work for the next seven weeks we did one run and done today. Me and a buddy got screwed on this deal pretty hard. Time to find a new carrier or maybe just sell off the equipment altogether. Decisions Decisions.
What if it Snows?

Every time I see the word "burrito", it reminds me of a 7-11 burrito I ate back around 1991. Thought I was gonna die.Eldiablo, LoSt_AgAiN, Opus and 10 others Thank this.

You reckon they will have a rule of what brand an employee and drink/have on hand? Coke does, also Red Bull. All the water you want, but no-no to any other branded beverage.Last edited: Nov 8, 2021

Hospital called. Wanting answers on when I was falling asleep. They tried in vain to trip me up and say I was falling asleep when driving. To which I corrected them saying if I felt drowsy I will pull over, find a shady spot, get out of the driveers seat and sleep in passenger seat. Nurse kept trying to spin it that I would sleep behind the wheel. Told the nurse she will get me to clam up if she kept trying to falsify my sleep habbits.
Otherwise there were other questions about sleep habits. It boiled down to that I am only sleeping up right at a desk (napping) or sleeping on left side. She felt I may need to do a 02 survey to see if I was strangulating myself at night (or something to that effect). Unknown what is next or when.homeskillet, Eldiablo, LoSt_AgAiN and 7 others Thank this. -
Nuthin to tell. My comments were a veiled reference to Dave's former issues with his trailer(s). This dude was a LS O/O. Weird thing was, his truck was held together with bungee cords but the trailer was brand new, right off the lot.LoSt_AgAiN, InTooDeep, 77fib77 and 5 others Thank this.

Sounds as if they had a bulk disposal problem of dead chickens. We raised chickens, 600 broilers in a batch. power went out in a storm, chickens hover/stack and smother. Fork up with pitch forks and haul to a trench, cover, done. Probably a wood chipper would have helped. Grind out the stumps and fill with chicken carcasses?homeskillet, LoSt_AgAiN, 77fib77 and 6 others Thank this.
