Portable Air Compressor for Truck Tires

Most drivers I know use a hose that attaches to a glad hand and basically uses the existing truck's air compressor. Unsure why you'd need a stand alone air compressor for your truck tires.
If you're a hot shot or similar I guess one might come in handy. Most 110 volt compressors will go to 125 psi. Some go to 150psi. I'm not familiar enough with 12 volt or gasoline powered ones to give any recommendation.tscottme, baha, MidWest_MacDaddy and 1 other person Thank this. -
You have the best compressor there is atrached to the engine already. Buy an air hose the put a glad hand on one end.

go to habor freight. get you a rubber air hose and straight air chuck
