Couldn't take it anymore. Went to ER this am. Was given a buffet of meds and send home. Told me I have the covid pneumonia. However they didn't want to keep me. She thought I was only a few more days from passing it.

I have to admit this is the worst sickness I've ever experienced. I've worked sick, broken bones, my head hardly attatch to my shoulders. This has by far been the worse.

Hopping a few days till I can get back in the truck. Cause work has not waited. My childhood farmer buddy saved my butt and went and moved some grain for me today and tomorrow. Life would be much harder without good people like that. And thank you folks for your support.

 

Take ALL the meds as directed. Pound the fluids. As hard as it may seem, rest. Burrow in under the covers for a few days. Get better.

I've still got all my old Cummins manuals. Shoot me an address in PM and I'll ship them to you, certainly not doing anyone any good in a cardboard box in the garage. As long as you tightened it up from the center out and didn't go ape**** on torque, you should be fine.

Zoe and I are at one the country’s worst truck stops for tonight. The TA in Ontario CA.
Got charged $4 for a medium fountain drink and will have to pay for parking tomorrow to boot.

hopefully something decent will pop up tomorrow- and I hope the broker has decent credit. The 3 possible loads for today all had. I credit brokers and I can’t haul if I can’t get paid.

Oh and yes I am that a-hole that 2 parking places to protect my truck and make sure I can get out in the am…..

 

I feel that way about all TAs. I don't think any have changed for the better in the past 20 years. None get updated and usually have the worst showers I've ever used. I have to be pretty hard up these days for a stop at a TA. Hope your week gets better.
