I am a team driver truck driver and this morning around 2ish in the morning. I was being followed by a random automobile driver. The driver attempted twice to get my attention by driving at my pace on my left with the lights on inside the automobile.

I noticed that the driver first attempt failed so the driver exit the highway and after another one or two miles the driver caught up again. Same action as a second attempt.

I put my four way flashers and the driver drove off exiting the highway. I felt like the driver was still following as I exit into another highway.

I managed to stop in a gated building with possible signs of known suspicious drivers who might have contact with this driver that was following me as I approached the gated building.

    Any suggestions would greatly help.

Maybe there was something wrong with the truck? The same thing happened to me once in North Carolina, the reason was that my snow chain was making contact with the pavement and sparking. I found this out at a later time, I didn't stop and will never stop for any four wheeler that doesn't have lights and sirens.

Just call 911. Don't stop the truck. Move to the left lane.

Phrases such as, "I think I saw a gun" might get the police to respond more quickly.

. Did your team driver not know what to do either? What’s the first thing that came to your mind anyway as options
But hey I’ll take a stab
    Couple options
Keep driving and if still can’t shake the guy,
    Call the police.
Find a well lit and active parking lot to check the truck out

Flashed my lights and turned my hazards off several times at a car hauler a few weeks ago up in New England who was dragging a ramp. Guess he thought I was trying to rob him, though this wasn't at 2am.

Warning: Back in the day that's how some men would troll for dates with drivers after dark.

Thanks so much for the reply, the red flag for me was the driver exiting the highway and re-entering and catching up, turning on the lights from the inside of the vehicle.

Then having other regular vehicles driving suspiciously to the location I was heading.

Luckily nothing happened where I decided to stop. Its gated and an abundance of cameras everywhere.

Most likely people with to much on their hands

What did you see when you looked inside the car while he had the interior lights on?
