When I was there they had primary routes. These where the routes designated moat important. For example 95 was #1, hwy 2 was 2nd and hwy 1 was last. So if it was snowing hard, hwy 1 wouldn't get plowed. Which was awesome if you were the crew coming on next. Because there would be like 3ft of powder on the road and you could haul ### and just throw it. Then the year after I left they changed that policy because of liability reasons I guess. It wasn't a horrible job if it weren't for the lazy ######## you had to work with and the politics. ...the politics really sucked. It was like working with a bunch of teenage girls and most of the guys were atleast 20 years older than I was.

Lol NY/PA is always the same. Nice clear roads in NY and PA will still be snow covered. If it's a really bad storm a lot of the secondary roads won't even be touched for 24+ hours .

And the plow guys are always sleeping in the median

Go easy on the plow guys. It can't be easy attracting all the idiots for miles around.
I'm wondering are the capable of auto steer like a farm tractor? The road ain't going anywhere other than where it's at.

Now your thinking, Houston. All that federal money for the port can be used to build an overhang and add extra #### for the van drivers to back into… now you’re thinking!

The adjustment screw on most steering boxes is meant to adjust internal worm and sector shaft. I've only adjust one or two in my time. If done wrong it cause more issues. Seldom does it need adjusted and seldom does it correct steering shaft play.

I would double check steering shaft phasing. Its a driveshaft like all others. If ujoints are not in phase they steer terrible.
