Another Darn Canadian

Joined about 20 hours ago, been reading a bunch, see that most are American, but a chunk of Canadians to.
Well here is another one of us.
Not working right now, broke my ankle, and wrist, in a pair of casts.
So felt this was the perfect time to research a new truck, and a part of that is joining this forum.
Name is Pamela, or Pam, 31, daughter of a trucker, literally grew up around trucks, truckers, the shop, and been driving since I was old enough to get my license.
Time to buy my own truck, and be my own independent. My dad is wanting to retire, and sell his trucks, can't blame him, he has worked hard all his life.

Not interested in buying an old truck, he admits to only keeping this long himself, because he plans to retire.
I want a brand new truck, fresh start.

What do you drive, haul, and where at?

I'm in Pr. George B.C. Canada, haul fuel, aggregate, logs, and equipment.

 

You are a long ways away, too bad you're not closer, where our paths would cross oneday to grab lunch together.
Never pulled a van, or any sort of enclosed trailer. Never even tarped a load, and a million other things that I haven't hauled. Only thing I would refuse to haul is cattle, horses, pigs, or anything alive. I would not want to be responsible for the health of living things. Fuel is my favorite thing to haul, closely followed by aggregate and logs, heavy equipment isn't bad, especially if not too large or heavy. Moved a pair of Hitachi 300 excavators recently, that was a fun job, and roads were good enough I wasn't chained up and in foot deep ruts full of mud. Moved a pair of Tigercats with buncher heads a few days before that, mud over the top of my boots, triples on all my drive tires, and then some praying to get out. Nothing like making it to days end, starting the pressure washer, and asking my dad to spray off my jeans and boots, then 3 hours cleaning up my truck and trailer.
