Yeah, they contract out sand hauling. It's all job/customer dependant. Some customers want you to use 3rd party sand, 3rd party chems. Some want boxes while others want silos. Just depends on the customer.
Edit: where I was at in west Texas it was all contracted out. Let me tell you, I seen some horrible trucks. Half of the trucks I seen, I had no idea how they were even road worthy. They were bad. I seen guys missing headlights that literally duct taped the old school mag lights in the open hole then just turned on the flashlights at night....no joke.

You would do well $$$ building gas station awnings and buildings...they are the ones with all the cash! And if you could find a small Broderson 5t carry deck there is a ton of work for them also. When your business takes off and you start buying 100t and bigger holler at me! I’ll probably be about ready to come off the road about then.
