Druggie drivers are the cause of shortage

My wife forgot to report her new medical to DPS. About a month or so after the previous medical expired she received a letter from DPS stating that her cdl had reverted back to a class c license.
She went to local DPS office with her new medical and pleaded with clerk to give her back her cdl. The clerk finally did reinstate the cdl. This was probably 8 years ago.

 

It won't change until we are able to quantify the amount of THC in somebody's system at a given point in time, the way we currently do for alcohol using a Breathalyzer.

But even then, there's no guarantee that the federal regulations will change. And even if the federal regulations change, the insurance companies might not change their requirements.
