Unless things have changed over the past few days, I don't believe they are leasing on vans at this time. Don't take my word for it though. Give them a call to make sure.

hey are you awake?????? hope to get back to work by the end of the week grandpa and I told the grandkids we were gonna get the first load SOUTH!

REDD is right about van freight...Mercer just does not have a lot of it and this is not a frieght abundant time of year......but do call and ask.......
-
I worked for a contractor that had if I remember right had 22 flats on at mercer. He had 8 vans over at ryder. I would think that if the box freight was good at mercer he would have his vans there as well. I know he told me at one time he might have to put his other trucks over there. I do not think he was doing real well at ryder.

I live in Cleveland,Tn. and notice they have van freight on the board in my area but none once it gets to where your going. Looks like your going to have a lot of deadhead to get another load. Don't think it would be worth it to pull a dry box.

yeah, but one of the Chattanooga agents owns a few trucks himself that pull vans. He drums up the freight for himself, but it still has to go thru the Mercer system.
