After 20 years at my previous job, I decided to quit a start a career in trucking. Looking forward to a new adventure.

Not a bad option. I took up truck driving after retirement from IT industry. Love it. About to start a city delivery route with a pup trailer in nine days. I like that driving is mostly alone, working with heavy equipment, and interspersed with getting out and moving around a bit. Heavily regulated but a lot of “you are on your own, you have to make the decisions.”
Plus there are so many types of driving and lengths of routes that you have a thousand options to choose from.
