It was manual steering when my dad and I bought it... But we quickly fixed that problem. We found the power steering components off a '79 F-250 from a junk yard. Pump bolted right up to the engine, but the gear box required that the front cross-member be notched, bent, fishplated, and drilled to accept it. It worked great, and still does. It was like driving a completely different pickup after that.Speed_Drums, dwells40, 77fib77 and 9 others Thank this.
