Hopper, Dump O/O's & Drivers

    Sometime the time will come when the brokers will actually need trucks bad! The ones who were treating the O/O's bad will be out of business. I hope it's sooner than later.

    Well i saw at least some are still doing good. Went to ft worth with dad this week on wendsay. New years eve saw a couple of rigs on 20 west probably headed to get some sand since most had low sides. At least they have work no wonder vantage and travis haven't gone out of business.

    yep,luis,.. i'm glad i kept my frameless bucket around for this winter,iv'e got loads booked all next week,corn going and sand coming back. hey wheathauler,.. have you heard of these new hay processing outfits that make pelletted hay for coal burning power plants? we have one going in in our area and looks like they are going to need hoppers and dumps to haul pellets to powerplant to burn,may be some extra hauling jobs out there this year.those hay pellets would be a new market around here:biggrin_255:

    an o'l 39 foot '95 ti-brook with 1/2 inch liner,thang weighs a ton:biggrin_25513:,needs the 5th wheel plate rebushed but i never have turned 'er over,nock on wood. it still gives me the willy's ever time i raise it,though:biggrin_25524:

    Ti-Brook is what started everything for these big texas end dump companies. All of them are family or somewhat related.

    most folks run East,Vantage or Trailstars around here.

    Only heard of east and vantage. Vantages are made here in houston over on highway 90 in katy. Nice trailers for sure lightweight but are expensive new.
