Yes I am talking to a lawyer now because the situation is bigger than just this issue. I also am in touch with another driver with the same complaint as mine. He's got a case with the labor board.

I had spoken to a lawyer and the lawyer said I had to stay with the load until I would be relieved of it. Which I did. And they have nothing to put on a DAC report because the VP was repeatedly praising my work and asking me to stay.
Bottom line is I don't trust him because he was also lying about who the other drivers that had been in the truck were. I have paperwork with dates and times and I think I can prove they did fake inspections on this truck. Believe me there were so many other issues that I can't explain here. I am happy to be out from under that black cloud.austinmike, bryan21384 and UturnGirl Thank this. -
Congrats for standing up for yourself and not letting them get off without push back. Labor laws are firm and no mercy given since 99% of employers know they have to comply and do. 1099 and public schools are the worst offenders.

So you’re headed back home ?
You need to talk to @Chinatown
He can offer lots of good suggestions for employment
The only way you can legally work as a 1099 is if you own the tractor .
And can’t be force dispatched .
Drivers who can pass the drug screen and DOT physical and have a clean driving record , are in huge demand .
make some calls and you will have another job offer in a couple of days .
Sorry you had this happen but the sooner you can forget it an move on , the better . -
Which state do you live in?

Where is home? We don't care that they poison your DAC, as we understand crazy situations can arise. As long as you have a reasonable explanation, that will suffice (what I have read here is reasonable). As for experience, we make exceptions to the recent experience requirement if you have a long history in the industry, as you indicated.
We're not FB, we're reefer. If that's acceptable and you live in our hiring area, you don't need to go all the way home. Call us for details. Here's our TR thread: Looking for a Few Safe Midwest Regional Solos, Honest $75k Opportunity
