There's really no way to defeat the systems apart from what's been mentioned in this thread and countless other threads:
"Work Somewhere Else That Doesn't Want or Require Such Driver Watching Camera/Recorders"!
>>the list is getting ever shorter<<
Other "Fun Things To Do" On A List Of "Things", as claimed by most safety personnel,
Not To Do While Driving:
>>Consuming Liquids &/Or Solids. Some Food Delivery Companies Have Such "requirements".
>>Talking On A "Hands Free" Phone With A Headset, Unless Parked.
>>No Blocking The Camera Sighting Of The Driver.
>>No Cigarettes, Pipes, Cigars.
I SUCCESSFULLY FAILED all 4, Road Driving For A Harris-Teeter D.C.
Taking Excessive "Breaks" Didn't Work Well For Dispatch, So I Discontinued Such Trips.
In MY Opinion:
Just Because You're Over 21 Doesn't mean You're An Adult Truck Driver, You're Just An Older CHILD!!

I suspect I know who is doing the Vaseline and the tape. Next time I’m around him I’m just gonna say something like man crazy what’s going on with the cameras whoever is messing with them is doing us a favor. I know an OTR driver and he told me sandpaper works best and it’ll damage them to the point it’ll cost a lot to fix them.
Then see if it happens lol.Waterman_99 and tallguy66 Thank this. -
Here’s one of our visor jobs. This camera has apparently already been damaged by an angry driver.

Tell them you are afraid of getting fired if you remove your hands from the steering wheel and can't figure out how to start the truck.
Waterman_99, God prefers Diesels, LoneRanger and 2 others Thank this. -

Like others have said..... just quit if you don't like the cameras. Now with that said.... a small punch and a hammer on the camera lens. Should render it useless.
Oxbow Thanks this. -
Put a hockey mask in front of it.

Maybe pulling the fuse (fuzee) might trip a message to Safety.
With all weird "Safety" initiatives, who's to say with certainty that there are not more than 1 Camera in any Truck?
Some Trucks have 2 Cameras NOT forward facing.
Next up may be a "Camera Proximity Alert" to negate any dubious activity near the Camera, as well alerting Safety to then require Driver to attend a "Safety" meeting after a mandated Writeup
(time out).
Pretty soon the Truck will communicate verbally as a Driver approaches, as well while Driving and become a Pest for all the "safety maneuvers" Driver is not completing according to Company Safety Standards.
Next Level Trucking!
CHEERS!!Shackdaddy Thanks this.
