Just a forewarning, the ELD will steal your soul. Seriously, if you do this, don't be surprised if you end up needing therapy and possibly medication to keep from turning into a news story.

 

Lol. Believe me, I have thought long and hard about that. I dunno what to do. It's kind of inevitable I guess. If you see me on the news......you'll know why.....lol

 

Hey @Espressolane , good news.......your buddy is till there..

 

One of my fav things is Shepard pie made from the Thanksgiving leftovers. Its better than first run Thanksgiving.

 

I've been on it for 6 yrs, after 17 years of paper, and still haven't adjusted. It is better with the most recent rule change, but that clock will still drive a man into madness.

I would be lying if I said I knew of the "recent" rule change. Do tell. I honestly don't keep up with anything.

 

Not that recent anymore, but if you're off duty for 2 hrs or more, your 14 hr clock stops until you go back on duty or driving, you just have to pair the requisite sleeper time on the next break.
