that's not a trucker. that's a drug trafficker, who was driving a truck at the time.

What gets me is how often people get caught for "traffic violations" that escalate to "police search vehicle and find ____"

    1. If youre doing a crime, dont do anything else, so if in possesion of drugs, 0 speeding, make sure insurance etc are in order

    2. De-escalate, if youre pulled over for speeding, be polite, do not be combative. it should never get to the officer telling you to step out of the vehicle and them searching your vehicle.

    3. If you have a rap sheet, theyre going to search the vehicle, in public, you can never be in possession of incriminating evidence of any kind.

Its all so basic, the police arent that smart, only have to be marginally smarter than them.

Its not illegal not to trust banks and to hide you money. I'm gonna wait and see how it plays out.
If he is guilty, either he acted a fool when pulled over, or the cop went thru the sleeper. Or some one droped a dime.
How would the law know where the "Secert compartment" was/is.?
I didn't even know that was a thing

This was in the trailer... again, something odd is going on here.

    Also charged with money laundering

Also, its not illegal to not trust banks, but until civil asset forfeiture goes away, carrying large amounts of cash is unwise

They could have been tipped off by another LE agency. It's happened before.

The Trucker must have told someone, p##### off a woman maybe. He’s a smuggler running cash back to Mexico. Government gets to keep all the cash. Better than finding drugs. Drugs get sent to the feds, and 50% of street value gets sent back to the arresting Government. Cash is their preference. Drugs aren’t. Without the Drugs, everyone’s out of a job.
