    I thump the tires a few times per day with a hammer, only put a gauge on them once a week.
    But I don't leave a tire shop without checking psi, and wheel nuts.
    I've found tires at 80 psi, and 140 psi, straight out of the shop, also had lug nuts no more than 250 ft lbs.
