Excellent description of the counter talk. Lol. Something else I’ve had enough of. Once while eating at the counter. A Big old grumpy Trucker comes in, sits down a few stools to the left, and announces “ Next time someone says Global Warming I’m going to punch them in the mouth. I say nothing, keep eating. The Guys obviously all worked up from some afternoon Talk Show, or some CB chatter. Needs to relax. In comes a cheerful Driver, sits down a few stools to the right side of Me. He asks how everyone’s doing. I say pretty good, and cupping my mouth, I say in a soft voice,” Whatever you do, Dont mention Global Warming” Lol. I thought it was funny. The big grumpy Driver didn’t. It was an uncomfortable moment. I got up and sat at a table to enjoy the rest of my meal. Left the cheerful Driver to debate the worlds problems with the grumpy one.

When I bought mine, my sister drove me to Langley BC. She got looking at bikes, took mine for a ride, was gone about 30 minutes while i was shopping for some accessories, and new gear. When she got back, they had one more identical to mine on the floor. She grabbed the sales woman, and said quote "that's going to be mine, but you have to take an F150 on trade". Well they did, and after a night at a hotel, 400 meters from the Indian dealer, next morning we rode home. New bikes, gear, and including helmets with communicators, so we could talk. We didn't go straight home, rode to our Dad's to show him. The next day papa was on the phone, and ordering himself an Indian, but his is brown, not black. It will still be in my garage when I drop dead. It handles better than it looks like it should. Those bags are dry inside after an 8 hour ride in rain.
