Foodliner is the worst or at least one of the worst companies out there. You are force dispatched from iowa. I've been there over two years with a s.. piece of truck after another. If you break down they expect you to find transportation to the terminal without compensation for out of pocket exspenses. I was told hey, I don't like your attitude, why don't you quit! I reported this to someone because I am a trucker who gets safty awards every year. All my loads are on time. I missed one sick day in the last two and a half years . This is the treatment you get! Plus being told don't ask for a raise, I have ten drivers wanting your take your job right now. They don't care about you , your safty or your family. The terminal operators are company men who feel it's their job to keep cost down for them. You are meaningless. we haul liquid I hauled for six months without getting compensated for taking tankers to be washed. Then when I started claiming 15 dollars for washing out my trailers, they decided to prewash trailers! You can barely scratch out a living with these guys! Stay away!

Sorry to hear that ...
But I worked Foodliner for a time out of Chattanooga and it went pretty well running dry bulk. Though the pay was nothing to get excited about.
Managed to gain about 10lbs on my arms and shoulders from all the Tank "banging" with the rubber mallet ...
Guess it's all about location.
I think the owner there also owns a Freightliner dealership, and I would guess the source of all the trucks, the equipment in Tennesse was pretty good tho. -
Sounds like u dealt with john m

Been with pantyliner, sorry, foodliner 8 yrs in Ks. Started out fair job but when the regional mgr, J. M. takes it over it goes back to ###### and has gotten ridiculous now. No benefits for yrs served, never time off and like you are killin em to ask for any. New hires dictate their schedule and get ### kissed while veterans do the work. I was stranded on road one night with water line broke in cold, and answering service called regional mgr, J.Martin and all he said was can't do anything for you. That was 2 yrs ago and has went down hill since. Yeah, they don't care bout the driver unless he is under ld. Thank goodness they got hold of term mgr or I could have froze for all J Martin cared.

Well I feel your pain. Been there with yea. Terminal in Wicihta, Kansas is terminal. No respect for drivers, or work performed. Foodliner needs to look up the word Management under M, not S for screw with the drivers. Until J. M. is gone nothing will change. He always blames everyone else, that is why the terminal mangers go out the door so fast. Doug Long was the best, and J.M. could not have that. Doug made him look bad. J.M. always tries to make the Wicihta terminal look like we were all cry babies. A lot of good drivers gone because he provoked them. And of course lets not forget the puppets he hires for Managers. Never submit to them. DO NOT GO THERE. Words to save yourself.

I can vouch for everything you are saying. This company will ruin your driving career. STAY AWAY. You can do better. Go to Swift or Schneider first.trucker43 Thanks this.
