So I have sat here fully entertained with a few beers watching my building talented wife and kid make a gingerbread house.
My comment when done was it needed a dirty Santa slinging cracked on the front porch. The glaze/snow is meting because the gang elfs are cooking meth inside.
We will never recoup are investment in this property.
But its worth it in laughs. -
And the union protects these people.
I called the plant, using the phone number that the logistics company gave me, to find out what gate I needed to use. Guy answers and I asked what gate I need to use Saturday night. He says to call the logistics co. I said this is the number they gave me and asked if he could transfers me. He said no and I asked why not. He said 'have a good day' and hung up on me. I have no use for unions.
It took 3 hours to unload that 4400# cavity. I wandered the plant a couple times looking for someone to unload me. Nearing break time people start to show up. A couple trips to find the correct eye bolts even though the size was cast into the tool. He puts the eye bolts in, then everyone disappears. An hour later they showed up with the crane.
I think I met the one decent guy in that place though. He drove the die mover in position and was waiting on the other guy to find eye bolts. We talked a few minutes while waiting. After everyone went on break he came back and asked if I needed anything to eat or drink. I thanked him and said I had already eaten. I knew better than to go into that place on an empty stomach.clausland, Gatordude, PoleCrusher and 9 others Thank this.
