This post may belong somewhere else,if so I couldn't find it. Why are some of the drivers on this site leaving the spot where you put how many years driving blank? Is there something I should know about?
Thankyou and God Bless

We appreciate and understand some of our members would like to stay anonymous in what they make public
Some make their experience or lack of it known by what they post (content)
Some make their years of driving public as proof of their knowledge
And some do both
Its up to you and what you feel comfortable withgrunntly, Admin, RACEFAN and 1 other person Thank this. -
Need to update mine, thanks for the reminder..

In my case it was not all current. Some of it was in the past and would make me look like I had driven all recently. Had I just listed the recent I would have bumped off several years. I figured it did not matter anyway, but now that I think about it I can see how people would like to see how much exp you have when you offer advice. Good point dave.

I am a newbie to the Report so I really don't know my way around all that much. As everyone can see I am a student at this point. I have been in the automotive manufacturing field for the last 30 years and after being downsized again at 50 I find myself unemployed. I made the decission to become a driver since I always have thought about it and with my son grown and out on his own and being single again I figure I could see the country while making a living(to young to retire,to old for some companies to hire). I am going to graduate 2/5/2010 and have been looking for companies to finish my training with. I am looking for companies in the state of Texas. Can anyone here make any sugestions? I don't really know what I want to do at this point. I will have all endorsements so I will be able to drive for just about anyone. Any input you can give will be greatly appreciated.

I am still a newbie and I am proud of it. I don't mind people seeing how much exprience I have and don't have.
This is a great site and I have found much help, supprort and comradery.
Of course there are also a few weeds in the garden.
I have had someone respond to a post of mine with a "what do you know rookie" attiude. However, there will also be responses of encouragement from other drivers with many years experience with a "You got your head on right rookie" attitude.
I too have also seen the reverse, someone resonding to a very experienced driver with a "times have changed 'old fogey'" attitude.
However, the moderators and staff here do an outstanding job, if an obnoxious weed pops up in the garden they handle it quickly, they also do a wonderful job of pruning and nurturing the garden of drivers as well.
As I said, I have been helped and learned a lot here by drivers with many years experience, drivers with little to no experience and those who aren't drivers.Texas-Nana Thanks this. -
I think this is the whole point of this forum. EVERYONE has something to learn, and EVERYONE has something to teach. (Even if the "teaching" part is how NOT to behave on a forum!)
Mastertech Thanks this.
