    Remington, IN at the Petro.

I just spent an hour on the northbound off ramp.
A trailer had caught fire at the top of the ramp.

I'm not sure what was being carried and there were no placards, but something inside caught fire.
The fire was right by the tandems, so maybe it was the brakes that started it. That end of the trailer was on the ground.

    jurupa valley at home.
other driver went on driveline Monday that ruined his 34 reset.
so Denver sent a replacement with only a empty trailer.
glad the winds had stopped lol.
switched odds around 1700 yesterday and was able to get back to a rest area at ex 45 in Utah.
new dl sent me to San Bernardino for this load.
spent 1.5 hrs there due to pick up number didn't match.
when I did my pretrip, trailer had a flat tire .
so spent around 2 hrs dealing with that.
then went to jurupa shop due to inspection sticker was torn off
so all in all.... a long day.
should have got home around 11230bht got home around 5pm

I hate those kind of days.

    Mine wasn't too bad.
I picked up a Costco load from Owatonna going to Lincoln, NE and got here early.
I didn't want a pallet load to Omaha so it was a live unload, which they did pretty quick.

A pplan was sent earlier that I avoided.
Picking up 30 miles from here in Crete by 2200 tonight and delivering to Amazon on the 13th at 0700, a live unload.
I countered with times that I knew would not be accepted, for several reasons.
One was that I had no idea how this Costco load would go. Loads out of Owatonna are always unpredictable on both ends.
Another was, that Amazon always takes 6-8 hours to unload - sometimes more. I hate that place.

Is there a way to respond to a mac 30 load offering using the Zonar that will get the actual pplan sent?

I tried using the message line below and nothing happened.
So I called my terminal to see if I could get the pplan sent to me.
The person I spoke with said he would send the planner a message.

The next thing I get is the actual load assignment, with no pplan being sent to reply to.
I don't want to be committed to a load before seeing the entire pplan and having the chance to respond to it properly, and it had never been that way using the Qualcom.

This time it turned out OK. It had times I could work with.
But what use is the mac 30 if I am committed to something that I can not do because I responded expecting a pplan to come in that I could actually consider?

My RoadPro lunchbox oven went south the other day so I got a new one.
That one lasted me over 2 years.
On the second unplug, the plug broke into pieces.

I was still at the Love's where I bought it, and took it in for exchange.
The person I went up to asked no questions, just ran back and got me a new one and did the paperwork.
It was only after he was finished that I actually showed him the plug.

So tonight is the first use of this replacement.
I'm hoping that it stays intact this time.

I keep two of them in the truck, just in case.

When I delivered my Lowe's load to Maple Grove this afternoon the computer kicked back my empty call because it was listed as a live unload, when it was a drop.

The DM I spoke to fixed that and then looked for a load to get me out of MN.
A paper load out of the Owatonna Costco going to Combined Locks, WI.
It isn't scheduled for pickup until Tuesday (today is Sunday), but it is ready now.
There is a note on the load assignment that says it can not deliver early, and the delivery window starts Tuesday.

Well, that let me get home for the night. It was a nice surprise.
I could actually get two nights at home if I felt like it, but I'll pick it tomorrow sometime and deliver Tuesday morning.

    That was a pleasant surprise.
