Where is everyone #5

I was there with you all summer. Now, I've got the cardboard out to get some heat. Man, you can't win sometimes..

 

Yeah, I've pretty much given up altogether on "winning" this year. Don't think it's in the cards.

 

I'm always winning.

 

It doesn't happen often. If your passing me while loading/unloaded its very uncomfortable. Like half in the ditch.
Wife had a dude pass her on the right a few years ago. His mirror hit the open door rubber seal. She reached and pulled the kid back by his backpack.
Last weeks case the child had minor injuries. Kid was hit by the RF corner and spun him away. 1 second earlier, he would have hit 4. He was the last child crossing.
When that went over the radio about 100 bus drivers had tears I'll bet ya.

 

Same here, I've tried my hand at it too with only mediocre results, ended up with raccoon face though. I've watched videos that make it look easy, then I try it, chasing the black line they say, yeah right. The only thing I'm chasing is my tail...

Looks good. I gotta get some scratches off the tanks on the 99. Can't tell far away at all but up close you can

 

I have two Dewalts, the big one dials up to 5000rpm I think. I've tried different size and type wheels, brown bars, black bars, green bars, raked the wheels, start sanding at 100 up to 1000 grit with a DA, you name it, but can't seem to get the mirror finish like some. Sure, it looks a lot better, but not the mirror finish like some get 'em. Guess I'll stick with turning wrenches and driving..

 

Shoot it only got to about ~30°f last night, but 5hrs of that whirlwind whipping around my feet, combined with the steel toe of my boot thought was gonna lose a toe!! Lol

Pulled over 20 miles from the barn & taped the door. It helped. Better order up some new door rubber..

 

I hunted all over and found a set of polished 22.5 stud pilot for the service truck, looked sweet when I got the rig done. Now, not so much.
Polishing aluminum is a relaxing way to spend a day off, said no one ever.
