I thought about it for a while but after being aggravated with losing signals at truckstop WiFi I decided to go with the Verizon MiFi . http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/...t&action=viewPhoneDetail&selectedPhoneId=4726 . The price is right and they are giving free activation and overnight shipping . This is a great device for teams because up to five users can use it at the same time .
Great time to buy Verizon MiFi

yes it is ! only two issues, when tethered its not wifi, theres only one way to boost the signal to it, no external ant. port but its a nice piece of equipment
-
I know several people that have it that haven't reported any signal problems .
-
When tethered it isn't going to be wifi. The wifi part only takes the signal from the device and sends it to the computer. Otherwise, it is the same as one of the cellular Aircards.
-
Shhhh, stop telling people about this, there will be so many on it it'll slow the rest of us down.
-
the only thing I hate about verizon, is they cap the data useage at 5 gigs, on my iphone alone i used 23 gigs of data last month (downloading movies, etc)
If you jailbreak an iphone, you can basically create a mifi hotspot from your phone, it's really awesome. -
So the map commercials are true then? Verizon has better coverage?
-
no it just means go with the carrier that services your area the best
we have 4 iphones 3 other not worth mentioning brands and am happy...and one verizon mifi card..
-
I got a Sprint WiFi card and i aint had no problems with it.
