    I just started with these guys doing dedicated turns from Ontario to Nova scotia. I do t want to piss anybody off. They are going to let me know if they can cover my wednesday load in the morning, if they can and it's no hassle for them I'll head home, if they cant, I'll cross my fi gers and head out.

    I have made that same call more than a few times in trucking. Throw down your cards and see where they land. No bad options here since you were up front with them. If they need you take a chance, make more money, keep them happy. If they find a way to cover it and don't ding you for it, go home and be happy. No bad options.

    So home it is, dispatcher was fine said it was no problem to cover. Hopefully the air freight gods smile on me and it shows up on time!
