Those cheese wagons that line up at the tempo on 16....
Every bus has to be electrostatic sprayed with a disinfectant once a day. All those buses park out. The contractor has em line up there to be sprayed..
They used to stop in there for breakfast. I slept there a few times in the truck, restaurant food ain't fit for a dog...

 

I guess you wanna stay away from 2003-2005. Alot of engine problems in those years I guess. I have no first hand knowledge of this though. I've looked at alot of them down there with small sleepers, old oilfield trucks prolly.

never knew u were from phx brother thats awesome. theres a place in southside phoenix called ponchos that is on central and baseline. not great neighborhood but probably one of the best places in southern us. but it is closed for covid.. takeout only... and quite a bit of a drive from you.

Elmers tacos top notch place, little hole in the wall but they have some of the best food.. only downside is the wait is usually quite long. but in my opinion is quite worth it. in downtown chandler area. 355 N. Arizona Ave

carolinas , more of a resturant then the other places. great food and they make homeade tortillas the size of a large pizza. so #### good. my family goes there just to buy the tortillas.. in mesa az... 1450 South Country Club Dr

just to the east of you across the freeway is a steakhouse called black angus. little pricey but man they got some really really good food and great service. also a bar there if u want some good drinks

you in a great place for shopping and eating . lots of stuff over in that area.. i grew up about 15 mins west of where your at. im way down in southern az right now about 3 hours away. how long ya staying in town?

 

Sitting at a loves about 45min west of Memphis. I40 is closed because of a Chem spill. One of my wife's drivers was in front of me before I turned off. I get a phone call from my wife asking if I'm okay......uh yeah....why. she said well Daryl just got rear-ended at the closure. Said a rv rear-ended him. So.....well see how bad it is later I guess.

 

I’m at Arrowhead in Peoria. Carolinas is on the list for dinner one night with my wife’s friend though. Panchos is a great place as well as Black angus.

I moved here (AZ) back in the very early 90s, left the southwest about 10 years ago to move back to Illinois to be ne’er my wife’s family.

I don't go past hwy 9 much anymore. The best food on 36 in my opinion is in Killam. Stop spot I think its called. I've been packing food along since kung flu is taking us all fer a ride.
